Knowing how to give constructive feedback is a learned skill. Participants will
be introduced to skills and techniques which will help make a 360 Degree Feedback
a positive experience which empahises learning and personal growth. Regular and
constructive appraisals help motivate the staff and by identifying high impact behaviours
the organization can ensure that staff are working on the issues vital to the success
of the business.
This course uses a variety of learning methods, including interactive exercises,
group work and, presentations. As well as becoming familiar with the interpretation
of HFI’s 360 Degree Feedback instrument, participants will have plenty of opportunities
to practice giving feedback. Before the course, participants will be invited to
complete HFI’s 360 Degree Feedback.

- Planning and structure of feedback
- Essential skills of listening, summarising, questioning and showing empathy

Day 2
- Handling difficult feedback sessions
- Gaining people’s commitment and developing Personal Development Plans

During the two day programme, participants will learn the techniques and build the
skills that will allow them to:
- Interpret the HFI 360 Degree Appraisal
- Understand the viewpoints from different types of co-workers
- Build rapport and give face to face feedback focusing on results and behaviour rather
than personality
- Identify problem areas and resolve them effectively
- Develop realistic Personal Development Plans
