EFFECTIVE MANAGEMENT THINKING
Strong analytic thinking skills are an essential management skill. They are at the heart of decision making and are essential to clear communication.
The ability to break down complex information and restructure it is the only way to gain a better understanding of what it means. Clear analysis leads to understanding intelligently and reasonably what is said or written. Once we are sure that we can make an intelligent assessment of the value of our own and others' ideas, we gain the confidence to question decisions and proposals and to make clear decisions.
The two day Effective Management Thinking programme develops the skills which characterise clear, precise, analysis about the issues which face managers. This includes not only questioning the validity and appropriateness of information presented but also developing intuition in spotting errors and unjustified inferences drawn from numerical, written or spoken information.
